These terms govern the Merchant API — apps, API tokens, invoices, subscriptions, transfers, checks, webhooks and the AI-agent connector. They apply in addition to the app’s general terms of use and its AML policy. By creating an app you accept them; by continuing to use an app created before 7 September 2026 you accept them too.

1. Definitions

We / the service — the provider of the wallet and the Merchant API.
Merchant / you — the Telegram user who creates an app and uses it to offer, sell or provide goods or services and to receive or send funds through the API.
App — a merchant application created in the Mini App, with its API token(s) and balance.
Payer — a user who pays an invoice or receives a payout of an app.
Digital assets — the cryptocurrencies the service supports.

2. What the service is

The Merchant API is a technical means of issuing payment requests and moving digital assets between balances inside the service. You generate invoices, payouts and checks on your own behalf and under your own responsibility. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a payer, not your agent, partner, employee or representative, and not a payment processor, escrow or intermediary for the goods or services you offer. A refund, a dispute or a claim about the underlying transaction is between you and the payer.

3. Your warranties

By using the Merchant API you represent and warrant that:

you have the legal right to sell the goods or provide the services you charge for, including any licence a jurisdiction requires;
you lawfully own and control the Telegram account and the wallet the app belongs to, and the information you give us is accurate;
your activity complies with every law that applies to it — anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist-financing law, sanctions law, tax law, consumer-protection law and the licensing rules of the jurisdictions you serve;
you are not, and you do not act for, a person subject to sanctions, and you do not serve users in a jurisdiction where your activity or the use of the service is prohibited;
you will not use the API for any prohibited use listed below.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use the Merchant API, directly or through a third party:

for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit others to act unlawfully;
for games of chance, betting, lotteries, casinos or any other gambling where you hold no licence valid for the players you serve;
to sell or promote narcotics, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia or unlicensed pharmaceuticals;
to sell weapons, ammunition, explosives or their components;
for fraud, phishing, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, “investment” programmes promising returns, or any scheme deceiving payers;
for extortion, ransom payments, or the sale of stolen goods, stolen data or credentials;
for content involving the sexual exploitation of minors, human trafficking, or any material illegal to distribute;
to launder the proceeds of crime, obscure the origin of funds, act as an unlicensed exchanger or money-transmitter, or move funds for a person who could not use the service themselves;
for dark-net markets, mixers or any service designed to evade blockchain analytics or sanctions;
for counterfeit goods or the infringement of intellectual property;
to bypass our security, limits, rate limits or fraud controls, to create multiple accounts to evade a restriction, or to abuse promotions;
in any way that may expose us to civil or criminal liability, or damage our reputation.

Telegram’s own terms apply to your bot and channel as well.

5. Compliance, monitoring and verification

We screen deposits and withdrawals with blockchain analytics and monitor activity and transactions inside the service as applicable law requires. We may at any time — in particular when transaction thresholds are exceeded or when we see an unusual pattern — ask you for additional information: the nature of your business, the purpose of transactions, the source of funds or wealth, identity or business documents. Until you provide it we may hold the matter as described in section 6. We may also require identity verification of the app owner as a condition of continued use of the API.

6. Our rights

Where we suspect a prohibited use, a breach of these terms or of the law, a risk to the service or to other users, or where a competent authority requires it, we may at our discretion and without prior notice:

refuse, delay or reverse a transaction;
restrict or suspend your access to the API, an app or the service;
freeze the balance of an app or of your wallet pending review;
revoke API tokens, deactivate an app or close your account;
report the matter to competent authorities and disclose information as the law requires.

We are not obliged to disclose the details of our risk procedures. We may change limits and thresholds at any time.

7. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the goods and services you offer, their legality, delivery, quality, warranties, pricing, refunds and consumer obligations, for all taxes, and for every action performed with your app’s tokens, including by anyone who obtained them from you or through your systems. You will indemnify and hold harmless the service, its affiliates, officers and staff from any claim, demand, loss, fine or expense, including legal fees, arising out of your goods or services, your breach of these terms or of the law, or a claim by a payer.

8. Liability

The API is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit or revenue, lost data, or for the acts of third parties, blockchain networks and their fees, exchange-rate movements, or a transaction we rejected or delayed under section 6. Our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid to the service in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the API and delete your apps at any time; a balance is withdrawn under the wallet’s ordinary rules. We may terminate your access for a breach of these terms with immediate effect. Sections 2, 6, 7 and 8 survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the current revision; creating a new app or continuing to use the API after a change means you accept the updated terms.
